Step 1 -   Your Impression.

An impression of your upper and lower teeth is taken by one of our affiliated Dentists or trained personnel and is included in the cost of your Striking Smiles Professional Tooth Whitening Kit.

This is a comfortable and painless procedure and takes around 15 minutes to complete.

The quality and fit of your whitening trays is critical in achieving a good whitening result.

Your custom fitting whitening trays are manufactured from these impressions at our Dental Laboratory.

Your whitening trays are made from 1mm thick eva material, fitting like a second skin over your teeth. They are virtually invisible and extremely comfortable, unlike some over-the-counter whitening trays and sporting mouthguards.

The whitening trays do not fall out and are not required to be held in place by keeping upper and lower teeth closed together during treatment times.   They are designed to hold the whitening gel in place whilst keeping the gel away from the gum area.

You will receive your Striking Smiles Professional Whitening Kit during your impression appointment.   Your new whitening trays will be delivered to your chosen address within 3-5 working days following your impression appointment.

Step   2 -   Your Whitening Treatment.

The Striking Smiles whitening treatment is performed in the comfort and privacy of your own home.  Your initial treatment time is normally 10-14 applications depending on age and level of staining present.  All stains removed during your initial treatment will not return, these results are permanent.  Top-up maintenance treatments are normally performed at 9-12 month intervals after your initial treatment, lasting 1-2 nights only.  Your top-up treatment removes new stains accumulated since your initial treament.

Your Striking Smiles Whitening Kit contains 40 full applications of Whitening Gel (10 tubes) and is available in Day or Night Gel.  You will have enough whitening gel to complete your initial whitening treatment and maintain your new white smile for the next 2-3 years.  Top-Up whitening gel kits can be purchased direct from Striking Smiles for only $85.00 and contain 16 full applications of Whitening Gel (4 tubes).  Your Top-Up whitening kit will keep your new white smile bright for another 3 years.
